Corbyn will not sit and vote with the parliamentary party he led

Whip leader and chief Nick Brown has decided not to return the Labour whip to Corbyn

Keir Starmer has refused to allow Jeremy Corbyn to take up the post of Labour MP, although the former leader's membership has been re-established

This follows a violent reaction to Tuesday's controversial decision by the ruling Labour Party body to restore Corbyn's membership after another anti-Semitism storm.

Corbyn was suspended from the party in October for his reaction to the report of the Commission for Equality and Human Rights (EHRC) on anti-Semitism in the party.
