The SNP* yesterday agreed to an 11-point plan to try to force a second referendum on the break-up of the UK.

Independent Scotland   

Nicola Sturgeon urged Boris Johnson on Scotland's independence, while she accused the Prime Minister of being "afraid of democracy"  

The party is voting at levels that would likely see them return a majority in the Scottish parliament elections in May and her leadership is under pressure to come up with a plan if the Prime Minister continues to refuse to get involved.

Mr Johnson said it would take another 40 years before the Scottish constitutional issue is revised after he voted against becoming an independent country in 2014.
