If you intend to deliver on December 21, the slots will be available from December 1.

Deliveries for December 22 will be available online from December 2.

The last day for delivery is 23 December, and slots open on 3 December.

There will be no vacancies available for delivery on Christmas Eve.

The good news is that thanks to Sainsbury's handy online system, you don't have to order immediately once you've secured your online slot.

In fact, you have until 11pm the day before the actual delivery date to order your Christmas supplies.
