Tier 2 for London this Friday
Families will be banned from being indoors in London, with the capital planned to be placed under restrictions on Tier Two coronavirus after Friday, has been reported
The restrictions work in a similar way to layer one, but effectively prohibit people who do not live together from meeting indoors, whether in a private home or public place.
The measure was expected by London Mayor Sadiq Khan, who said earlier in the week that London "will probably" see restrictions soon.
He said the city was "fast approaching" 100 cases per 100,000.
