Prime Minister Boris Johnson welcomed the 11-hour deal with the EU as a "new beginning" for Britain that resolves the European issue that has "plagued" British politics for generations
The 27 members of the European Union still need to support the agreement, which was closed by European Commission officials with the United Kingdom.
