Google reveals new Chromecast and Pixel 5
Google has held one of the most anticipated events for fans of the brand in the world. The company is expected to launch on Wednesday 30 new versions of some of its main devices, such as the Pixel 5 smartphone, the speaker with virtual assistant Nest and also the Chromecast, a device that allows to give "smart" functions to older televisions without Wi-Fi.
The Pixel 5 costs $ 699, is available for pre-order now on Google Store and will be shipped in October. The phone comes with 128 GB of storage, although curiously, a version with higher storage capacity is not available, and the Pixel 5 does not support microSD cards to further expand that capacity.
The new Chromecast stands out precisely because of the new operating system. Google TV promises to make the user experience easier when selecting content to watch, regardless of the streaming service chosen. The accessory supports resolutions up to 4K and features such as HDR 10+, Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos for audio and video improvements. It is now available for purchase in the United States at the suggested price of $49.99.
