Extinction Rebellion blocks distribution of newspapers
Extinction Rebellion formed blockades on major print sites last night, saying he was trying to prevent national newspapers from being distributed to the public.
Dozens of protesters were blocking roads leading to print media used by News UK, editor of The Times and The Sun , in Broxbourne, Hertfordshire, and Knowsley, Merseyside. The websites also print other newspapers including The Daily Telegraph, Financial Times and Daily Mail . It was unclear last night how many copies of the newspapers would come out.
