Boris' Summer Staycation

Prime Minister Boris Johnson went to the ends of Scotland last week for his summer stay, with his fiancée Carrie, four-month-old son Wilfred and the puppy in the shoulder.
On the Applecross peninsula, where they were on vacation, they chose a three-bedroom cottage as their accommodation. It is a radical change from their luxury holiday last winter to the island of Mustique, which was recorded in the parliamentarians' interest register to the value of £15,000. Listed as a 'donation', it was discovered that conservative donor David Ross, the recently announced president of the Royal Opera House and co-founder of the Carphone Warehouse, helped Boris secure a holiday villa on the private island.
Johnson's family holiday idyll was interrupted, coming to an abrupt end on Thursday, August 20, when the couple were located by a photographer, which led the Prime Minister's protection officers to say he should return to London for security reasons. The Prime Minister's fiancée released photos of his stay on the West Coast on Saturday in her Instagram.
It is understood that the couple took "many long walks in the open air and ice-cold baths at sea".
