Britain is past the peak of the coronavirus, said England's medical director. Chris Whitty said that cases, hospital admissions and deaths are diminishing in all four nations of the United Kingdom, but warned that it would take months for the pressure on hospitals to decrease.
Boris Johnson promised to set dates this month to facilitate the blockade after the 'milestone' of ten million vaccinated people was passed yesterday.
