Eurostar: passenger numbers have dropped by about 95% since last March, with only two services operating per day

Although the UK sold its stake in Eurostar in 2015, ministers were urged to protect it because of its oversized importance for travel to the continent.


As a result of the pandemic, passenger numbers have dropped by about 95% since last March, with only two services operating per day.

Four out of every five trips from London to Paris or Brussels are made via a rail connection, shows a survey by the London First business group.
