Greece: Retail, industry and schools will remain open, along with service sectors such as hotels and hairdressers

Greece reported fewer cases of the new coronavirus than most in Europe, but had put some restrictions in place

ATTENS (Reuters) - Greece will extend the night-time curfew to the movement and close restaurants and bars in the most populated areas of the country for a month to contain the resurgence of COVID-19 cases, the prime minister said on Saturday.

Restaurants, bars, cafés, cinemas, museums and academies will be closed as of Tuesday 3 November for a month in northern Greece and the Attica region, which includes the capital Athens.
