The rule of six

Toughening up social isolation measures, UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced on Wednesday (9) what he called the "rule of six" to contain the spread of Covid-19. Basically, meetings with more than six people were banned in the UK as of next Monday 14th.  After a drop in the number of cases during the month of July, the United Kingdom has registered peaks of contamination of the new coronavirus. The British leader also pointed out that there had been an increase in testing, which would have contributed to new patient confirmations, and reinforced Covid-19 prevention measures, such as washing hands and wearing masks correctly.
Outside the rule are schools, workplaces and large households, as well as weddings, funerals and team sports. Boris Johnson also warned that the fine for those who do not comply can go up to 100 euros and that the aim is to avoid further confinement.
