Meghan's ambition

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced last week about their multi-million dollar deal with US streaming giant Netflix. The couple told of their plans to produce 'inspiring' programmes in a multi-year contact with Netflix. This is Harry and Meghan's entry into Hollywood. The former star of 'Suits' hopes the business will give her an Oscar, which is her childhood dream.

"An Oscar is all Meg has ever wanted. She used to practice her acceptance speech in the mirror with a hairbrush when she was a seven-year-old. She also practiced her signature in preparation for all the autographs she would give," a longtime friend of the Duchess of Sussex said.

Harry and Meghan are following a strategy pursued by Barack and Michelle Obama. The Obamas signed a contract with Netflix two years ago and won an Oscar earlier this year for their documentary American Factory. It has not yet been officially announced, but the couple's production company is developing documentaries about nature and an animated series about inspiring women.
