Biden runs outside and vague

The Democratic candidate for the presidency of the United States, Joe Biden, failed to leverage his voting intention figures last week. According to the Reuters/Ipsos national poll released today, the former vice-president maintained a seven-point lead over his opponent Donald Trump. It is worth remembering that the country's population does not vote directly for president, and the final result depends on what is decided in the states. Reuters listened online to 4,320 Americans between 19 and 25 August. The results indicate that Joe Biden has the support of 47% of those interviewed, while the Republican gets 40%, with a measure of accuracy between 2 and 5 percentage points. Biden's discussion of policy issues tonight was purposefully vague, far from detailing his agenda, and he offered very little criticism of Republican policies or proposals.
