Strong demand for its latest iPhone has propelled Apple's sales to a new record in the prenatal critical period, Wall Street analysts believe.

Apple is expected to report quarterly sales of $100 billion next week, with the world's largest technology groups delivering another record series of earnings figures

Its growing network of subscription services also helped the group overcome disruptions during the early stages of Covid-19, when the pandemic fractured its supply chain and affected demand.

Analysts expect quarterly sales of $102.6 billion when the group led by Tim Cook reports Wednesday. Amazon, which will report its earnings the following week, projected sales of between $112 billion and $121 billion for the period.
