One in seven London tenants is behind schedule. Pressure is now mounting for the government to do more than postpone evictions.

The government is under increasing pressure to intervene and help London's tenants after figures showed that more than one in seven tenants in the capital fell behind with rent during the pandemic.
The government announced that the bailiff's action against the tenants would be halted during the current blockade, except in the "most flagrant cases," such as anti-social behavior or extreme delays.
