It is liberating that more and more men are wearing hair, but not in any way

Let's be charitable here and assume this cut was a DIY effort involving kitchen utensils






Boris Johnson debuted such an impressive haircut that discussions about his abject horribility eclipsed the more subtle details of what exactly was arranged at that seafood dinner with Ursula von der Leyen.


Hairdresser Michael Van Clarke, founder of the Marylebone salon, explains in a very charitable way that the Prime Minister "gave a way to cut [his hair] a little shorter and a little cleaner on the back of the neck. However, the more recent cut does not have the refined layers around the ears, so it has a hard edge and is reminiscent of the effects of the pudding basin of the 1970s".
