Average tariffs on EU food imports would be colossal 20 percent, it has been calculated - with similar increases in shelf prices very likely




More expensive canned vegetables (up to 6.8 percent), baked beans (7.1 percent), canned fruit (8.75 percent), dried pasta (22.6 percent), canned tomatoes (11.4 percent) and evaporated milk (27.6 percent) can all be expected, The Grocer calculated.
