A diplomatic phone call speaking blah blah blah: no agreement yet reigns

Brexit still: Boris Johnson and European Commission President Ursula Von der Leyen agreed to "go further" to reach an agreement

Leaders spoke on the phone at around 11 a.m., while UK negotiator Lord Frost and EU negotiator Michel Barnier resumed negotiations this morning in Brussels

Mrs Von Der Leyen described the call as "useful and constructive". But Johnson later said that the two sides were still "far apart on some important things" and that the UK should be prepared to leave without an agreement.
