Environment Secretary George Eustice warned that there was still a major stalemate over fishing, with the EU demanding 50 per cent of catches in British waters and the UK saying it should only be 20 per cent.
Asked whether Cummings' exit made it easier to reach an agreement, Eustice said: 'The negotiations were led by David Frost from the start.
- So I don't think Dominic Cummings' exit will have any impact on the negotiations, as Lord Frost leads them.¨
