Another sailor will leave the boat: Dominic Cummings will leave Downing Street by the end of the year
Dominic Cummings is expected to leave Downing Street at the end of the year, signalling the end of the field rule Vote Leave in Boris Johnson's administration.
The prime minister's senior advisor told the BBC that his position "has not changed since my January blog," in which he said he hoped it would become redundant by 2021.
He added: "Rumours of my threat of resignation are made up; rumours about me asking others to resign are made up. ”
Speculation about his position has increased steadily since the resignation of Lee Cain, the Prime Minister's communications director and Cummings' closest ally in 10th place earlier this week.
