Obama supported former President Biden in a Philadelphia act
At a "drive-thru" rally - that is, with participants watching the speech from inside their cars - Obama criticized the conduct of the fight against the coronavirus by President Donald Trump, who is seeking re-election.
Former US President Barack Obama called on supporters of Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden to take part in the November 3 elections and not to settle for favourable polls, during a speech in which he also criticized his successor, Donald Trump.
"We cannot be confident. I don't care about the polls," Obama said during a rally in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
In his first appearance in the campaign to support Biden, Obama recalled that in 2016, "there were a lot of polls" in favor of Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton, "and it didn't work, because a lot of people stayed home, got lazy and confident. This time it didn't. Not in this election".
