Doors still open? Or does a ¨no deal¨ mean some ¨kind of deal¨?

Brexit No Deal: deadlock on issues including access to fisheries and state aid rules.

Economically, this would cause serious economic upsets in the short and long term

Downing Street said on Friday that negotiations "ended" after a deadline set by Boris Johnson passed without any agreement.

But cabinet minister Michael Gove revealed on Sunday the announcement of a negotiating feint, telling the BBC that the door would indeed be "still open" if the EU moved in key areas.

EU leaders warned after a discussion Thursday night that it would be up to the UK to take the necessary action, although others, such as Angela Merkel, suggested that the bloc would be willing to make its own commitments.
If no trade agreement is agreed with the EU and implemented before the end of the year, the UK will leave the single market and customs union and start negotiating under the World Trade Organisation (WTO).
