¨Expensive¨ and ¨terrible¨ lockdown




In a communiqué, the retail giant ¨Next¨disse that was forced to close its doors at the beginning of the pandemic caused revolt, while making its entire corporate office work remotely had a negative impact on the minds of its employees. Next said holding large meetings via video calls has been "heavy, frustrating and inefficient. Meanwhile, colleagues suffer from not being able to learn from each other and need to focus on solitary tasks. But it seems that many would disagree with Next's analysis, as a recent study found that 58 percent of workers were actually more productive working from home.
