Luna to compete with Microsoft and Google
Amazon´s streaming game platform with AWS technology
Amazon entered a new business on Thursday: internet games. The company, which already owns the Twitch game streaming platform, announced the game streaming service called "Luna". With it, the player does not need to have a console to play games. The service was born to rival platforms such as Cloud Gaming from Microsoft, Google Stadia from Google and Apple Arcade from Apple. The Luna platform will initially cost $5.99 per month and will allow the user to use two devices simultaneously. So far, it has been announced that the platform will be available for computers (Windows and Mac), Fire TV, iPhones and iPads. The Android version will come shortly after. The Luna control works via Alexa's voice commands, and Amazon adds that the control works better this way than via Bluetooth connection. The first to receive the trial version of Luna will be residents of the United States, which has not yet been released.
