Cineworld may close all its 128 cinemas in the UK and Ireland after the industry was hit hard by the coronavirus pandemic .The film giant is planning to write to Boris Johnson and Secretary of Culture Oliver Dowden to say that the industry has become "unviable". The threat of closure comes after James Bond's new film, which would have attracted many film lovers, has been delayed for the second time until spring. Sources familiar with the discussions told The Sunday Times that Cineworld could close all its sites in the UK this week, putting 5,500 jobs at risk.
